There is never a time to repress

expression, nor avoid

the pen drop. Each

line does a somersault

peace, without the

Lighten that rude face

with a childlike gaze and

soften up those old, rough

travelers feet. Let your troubles

fly off with those regrets. The judge

will be your guide.

Pause for the happy fire-

works then rise without repeating

unwanted choices. You should unwind

for a minute and relax with time.

Better to let a soothing moment, ooze in,

than to let a forest of frustration

keep you old and worn out.

O’ humanity…

Why do we pretend

to not understand how

small we really are: In comparison

to the vast universe?

Well, I’m obliged to invite you to this reverence!

Look at your selves through the macro-

microscope. How far away can we be seen

anyway? The Heavens appear

to go on for an eternity!

We seem a bit microscopic within

our envelope of space.

Yet, we sense we’re not exactly obscure

in the fabric of a celestial purpose.

It appears our worth is beyond

measurement. Nonetheless, this shows us

where our proper perspectives are… In the Eye

of a magnificent God.

Perhaps, we all should be in awe

of this amazing

view.

to me, O’ winds which climb

my fleeting grief.

I dare not plead against

deaths covet.  My life’s

been rocked by the cradles

breeze, then flash…

I grew modestly educated.

Triumphantly, I felt wise- then

I realized that it was time to

dine. (grasping at my throat)

I chocked on a tear,

for like an airplane

I flew through the years, until

I found myself here…

recounting all the moments in

my life that really mattered.

Quietly, night grows

heavy with darkness and

I can no longer see a nightingale.

Still, I cling to the slither of light

in the back of my mind.

I think it solitude, yet

I believe it’s unconsciousness…

even though my eyes are wide awake.

Am I punished? Yes!

However, darkness leaves me

when my deliverance comes.

The light blankets my eyes, and

my ears hear the tenderest

of bird song.
